Description: Mid-1960s small abstract panel by Ellamarie Woolley. This vintage wall piece features shaped circles of enamel on copper mounted on a stained mahogany backing in an interlocking geometric pattern. Original brass frame with nice vintage patina. Signed and numbered on reverse: Ellamarie Woolley, #536.
Often working with her husband, Jackson Woolley, Ellamarie Woolley was a San Diego-born artist and one of the pioneers of postwar modern enameling on the west coast.
Dimensions: 7-3/4 X 7-5/8 inches
Condition: Some light scratches in both the enamel and wood surfaces (visible in photos), missing one brad from top section of frame, otherwise very good condition.
