Description: A 1960s figurative sculpture by Paolo Soleri. Very typical of his carving of the female form in styrofoam, which was then cast in bronze. The blocky rendering of the figure’s oversized hands and the unique treatment of the hair are great signature Soleri details. This unmarked example of Paolo Soleri sculpture comes from Scottsdale artist Dick Seeger, who acquired it directly from Paolo Soleri in the 1960s.
