Description: A substantial sculpture by Paolo Soleri with great vintage patina. Two typically blocky female figures are mounted on a T-shaped structure or base, creating interesting spatial relationships. The figures easily come apart from the base, sliding out of the openings that hold them in place. All of the elements were modeled or constructed in styrofoam, which was then cast in aluminum at the Cosanti foundry in Paradise Valley Arizona. Marked with the Cosanti stamp in two places and prominently signed Cosanti 67 on the back. A great example by this artist and visionary architect.
